BAPTISM
"Go . . . and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit." (Matt. 28:19).
Baptism is the sacrament of life with God and membership with the Christian community. (The origin of the word is from the Greek baptein, "to dip, to immerse".) In baptism, parents graciously commit to raise their child with their gift of faith.
We have a wonderful preparation program which ministers to parents by helping guide them in their own spiritual faith formation so that they can better share their gift of faith with their child. Please call the Parish Office at (410) 566-2140 to register for the baptismal preparation meetings and for the baptism.
RECONCILIATION
"I will give you [Peter] the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matt. 16:19).
The sacrament of reconciliation is the ritual of the Christian community, under the leadership of the bishop or priest, in which sinners are reconciled both to God and to the Church. It has been called the sacrament of peace, which renews our life with God and neighbor. "Reconcilation is found on almost every page of the New Testament; it is an essential part of the gospel message." (from The Harper Collins Encyclopedia of Catholism, p. 1083).

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Annointing of the sick is the comforting sacrament of God’s strength and grace. It is not only for those near death, but should be received by all those suffering from a serious illness. Through the priest, the prayers and hope of our parish community is extended to those anointed. Call the Parish Center (410) 566-2140.
