During the seasons of Advent and Lent, our parish community collects clothing, toiletries, and other gifts for those in need in our community.
Parishioners are asked to pick gift tags from the Giving Tree in the back of the church and to purchase the suggested items for contribution to local ministries such as the Franciscan Center, St. Vincent de Paul, etc.
It is a way of giving back a little of what we have so generously been given.
"When we attend to the needs of those in want, we give them what is theirs, not ours. More than performing works of mercy, we are paying a debt of justice."
